When I first met Carl and Rebecca in London to discuss their plans, I knew filming their wedding was going to be a lot of fun. Their happy and relaxed demeanour creates a very natural and fun wedding film at The Hop Farm in Kent.
The Hop Farm near Tonbridge caters for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and on 3rd June it was touch and go which it was going to be. As the hour of the wedding approached it seemed as though the ceremony would be held within the venue's converted oast barn when it started to rain. However in the final minutes before the ceremony the sun began to appear and the bride and groom made the call to take their vows outside. The wedding planners at the farm were excellent in allowing this kind of flexibility and the punt paid off - it remained dry and sunny for the rest of the day.
It was a pleasure to work alongside the photographer Jamie Flood who captured the occassion beautifully - you can see some pictures he took of the occasion here.
